Managed to finished it, somehow, and hopefully the last time I try coloring like this *sighs*. Dedicated to everyone who commented/faved the WIP version! I hope it fulfills more or less your expectations! And special thanks to my brother, who was the best coop partner any test-subject could wish for, and also pointed a lot of mistakes in the early process of this drawing!

Anyways, Portal(2). Loved it. So hard.
GLaDOS even quotes once from my favourite scifi story, The Dandelion Girl (who happens to wear dresses in the same colors of the game? white, blue and yellowish-orange?). Did you also know that Chell probably suffers from Broca's aphasia? And tell me, guys, do you think that *pseudospoiler alert* Caroline was actually Chell's mom? Because it seems to be implied but I guess everything is up to fan spehculation. And lab rat should be portal3 main character and Chell should appear in HL3. Amirite?

Beautiful work, but I really do not think Caroline is Chell's mother. They look absolutely nothing alike, and the dates don't match up.

Nah, It's okay. I much rather prefer for them not to be blood related. I mean, if she was her daughter it would mean like Chell was "fated" to beat GLaDos, and was not just the random test subject who had what it take to beat the monster in it's game. Being the random "test subject" is much cooler, IMO. ;-}

No, she is not. The game developers themselves said they had no intentions on implying that Caroline is Chell's mother. Plus, the timeline is all wrong. By the time Chell was born, Caroline (who was still alive) would have been in her 60s/70s. And Cave Johnson was already dead.

Besides that, this is very nicely done.

If they did research on the song, they will know that Ellen McPage sung the song off the top of her head, completely without any intentions of hinting that Caroline is Chell's mother. Plus, if I understand correctly, "Cara Mia" is a common nickname used in opera. It is used by an older female to refer to a younger female, related by blood or not. And three, If the song was suppose to be an hint from GLaDOS to Chell that she is her mother, wouldn't it make sense if GLaDOS herself sung the song, not the Soprano Turret?

I'm sorry, I am a dork. I over think about game/movies/cartoons/TV shows/books I am a fan of. :shrug:
